We don't know what foundations gave life to certain songs, rituals, poems... but we do know that many of them have survived to this day, wrapped in mystery. "Zer ote da?" is a call to sensitivity, curiosity, and awareness.

Kuttune's new album is an affirmation of their sound and a solidification of the band's style. It consists of 12 songs inspired by the folklore of Euskal Herria and the Iberian Peninsula.
Some of the songs are new compositions, both in melody and lyrics, while others are highly elaborate musical arrangements based on traditional melodies, taken from songbooks and field recordings.
HAUXE DA!
This album is the band’s first work. It represents a meeting of musicians from different styles, with the aim of creating a new group where the rich timbral diversity offered by its members is fully reflected.

We will find interesting musical arrangements derived from traditional songs of Basque and Iberian culture, as well as a mix of instrumentation that gives this group its unique sound.
​
Musical composition and the creation of new sounds have been present from the very beginning, seeking to create new muñeiras (a type of traditional Galician dance), work songs, and also offering a different perspective on traditional songs that have accompanied dance for a long time.
​
This is a research process that starts in the archives and museums of our region and ends in an album filled with timbral variety and new songs for stages and town squares.
